Warm Greetings:
As you step into our church, our dedicated hospitality team will be the first to welcome you. They're here to ensure you feel at home and are ready to assist with any questions you might have about navigating our space or understanding the flow of our service.
Coffee and Fellowship:
Feel free to kickstart your morning with a cup of coffee or tea from our coffee bar. Our youth group baristas can even whip up something a bit fancier if you're in the mood. If beverages aren't your thing, head into the sanctuary and find a seat. Our services kick off with a musical prelude, signaling the beginning of our time together.
Sunday Service Highlights:
- Announcements and Worship: Be sure to check out the big screen during the prelude, since not all our announcements are made from the stage. This means you can stay up to date with all our important announcements as we head into our uplifting worship session.
- God's Country Kids: Children, ages 5 through 4th grade, have their very own children’s church, affectionately known as “God’s Country Kids.” After we all worship together the kids are invited to join their teachers in a prayer before heading out to their classroom. - Communion and Devotional: Next join us for a meaningful time of communion and devotional thought. At this sacred moment, we extend a warm invitation to all baptized believers to participate in communion. Our church practices a two-cup system; when the tray is offered to you, take one stack of cups. The bottom cup contains the bread, and the top cup contains the juice. Unless otherwise instructed, we view communion as a personal time between you and God so please to take the emblems when you are ready and prepared to do so. This individual, yet shared experience symbolizes our unity, or rather our “common union” in faith and remembrance of Christ's sacrifice.
- Prayer and Message: Following Communion we delve into short time of prayer and then listen to the morning’s message from a member of the ECC preaching team.
- Final Worship Song and Invitation: Finally, we wrap up the service with one worship song and a “time of invitation.” This is an invitation for any decisions to be made from accepting Christ as your Lord and Savior to placing your church membership at ECC.
Family-Friendly Facilities:
- Nursery: For parents with young children (birth to 4 years old), we provide a safe and secure nursery. You can check your child in before the service and choose to pick them up immediately after service or keep them checked in throughout Sunday school.
- The Family bathroom has a changing table and extra supplies all are welcome to use.
- God's Country Kids (Ages 5 - 4th Grade): As mentioned above, this is a special Children's Church during the service where kids can learn and have fun. They are dismissed after worship time. Parents, you decide if they join the class or if they stay with you, no pressure.
- Family Room: We understand that parenting comes with its unique needs. Our Family Room is designed for parents who may want a bit of privacy during the service. Equipped with a two-way mirror, you can still feel connected to the congregation while having the option to dim the lights and adjust the volume of the service according to your preferences. Please note that babies are 100% welcome in the main service, and we cherish their presence. The Family Room is just an additional option for parents who may appreciate a bit of extra privacy while still being a part of the worship experience.
Sunday School Hour:
Following the main service, we transition into a time of fellowship before Sunday school begins. For those who choose to attend, we offer Sunday school options for all ages from babies to boomers and beyond. Click here to discover your options.
