"We are very proud of our school. Since 1948 we have served children in this area of Northern India. It is wonderful seeing (as is true in many areas of India) Hindu, Muslim and Christian children and staff working, teaching, learning and playing together! And we just give God the Glory!"
Established in 1948, Kulpahar Kid’s Home (KKH) stands as a haven for children facing the challenges of life without one or both parents or in circumstances where parental care is unavailable. Today, their hostels extend support to children from economically disadvantaged Christian families, ensuring they receive an enriching Christian education. Having nurtured over 800 kids, thier impact resonates as many graduates have seamlessly transitioned from school to college.
KKH’s commitment reaches beyond conventional norms by embracing children with physical or mental challenges who find a supportive home within KKH’s hostel community. Currently, their student body comprises 427 children, a mix of day students and hostel residents.
At the heart of KKH’s mission lies the aspiration to physically rescue each child, providing them with a secure and affectionate environment. Their dedication to offer a quality Christian education is steady, addressing a void that many of these children might otherwise face. The ultimate goal is to empower them as exemplary Indian citizens, planting the seeds that guide them toward a fulfilling life in Christ.
