Wallowa County Food Services
Community Connections Food Bank

Community Connection leads the fight to END hunger in Baker, Grant, Union, and Wallowa counties…because no one should be hungry.

Sadly, hunger remains a serious problem in our local area. People work hard and still have to choose between eating and other basic necessities such as medicine and housing. Nearly 44 percent of the people served by our network of food banks are children.

Our community members are very generous with their financial contributions and 80% of the food and funding is from local donors. Opportunities to contribute a tax deductible donation include USDA inspected meat, non-perishable food items, fresh produce, cleaning products, personal care items, and funding to purchase items as needed.
