Mission Caribe establishes churches, trains ministers, and runs an orphanage!
Following Biblical examples from Jesus (Mark 10:45 - For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.), and Paul (Philippians 1:4 - Each of you should be concerned not only about your own interests, but the interest of others as well.), Mision Caribe strives to serve all people in Honduras, helping them to meet basic needs. In good times or tough times, serving others is always a challenge that we should be willing to embrace.
Missions in Action
This is the beauty of global missions. Because of the funds they received from churches like ECC, they were able to start constructing an addition to their building. Their community came together and literally laid the foundation for a partner church of theirs to come on a mission trip, and finish the project. This is the church. This is the Body acting as one.
"There is one body, but it has many parts. But all its many parts make up one body. It is the same with Christ. We were all baptized by one Holy Spirit. And so we are formed into one body. It didn’t matter whether we were Jews or Gentiles, slaves or free people. We were all given the same Spirit to drink. So the body is not made up of just one part. It has many parts."
1 Corinthians 12:12-14
